An adored husband, father and grandfather (pictured in his Visiting Hat!) whose presence in our lives will be so deeply missed.

Graham died on 30 April 2023 after being diagnosed with late stage lung cancer and related complications.Despite the many problems facing the NHS currently, the care he received by the organisation and it's wonderful doctors, nurses and support staff was outstanding. He was brought back from the brink in A&E and ITU, kept stable on the ward, and after discharge to a lovely NHS funded nursing home was able to spend his last few weeks surrounded by his family and friends, for which we are so grateful. He was a fully committed supporter of the NHS, and a typical Baby Boomer, his early life being totally cocooned by the then newish organisation - free orange juice, cod liver oil, immunisation and health care at the point of need - and he was so disappointed by the lack of political support given in recent times to try to fix the problems it suffers. Your donation to NHS Charities Together will go a little way to help save the destruction of the NHS founding principles and be a fine tribute to his memory.
